The Adventurer’s Guild representative working the evening shift from one of the nooks near the main entrance of the Strangled Goat. She operates the quasi-official Guild alcove where certified mission allocators meet with adventuring parties, review credentials, and assign sanctioned work.

What the Party Knows#

Velra asked for Guild credentials. None of the party had any.

She was neither dismissive nor encouraging — simply professional. She added their names to a prospects list and explained the requirements for Guild membership: a 25GP fee, a physical trial, a combat trial, and a written exam. The guildhall would be open in the morning.

She did not offer work to uncertified prospects. She did not turn them away either.

Impressions#

Businesslike. Efficient. The kind of person who has had the certification conversation many times before and has it down to its essential components. Not unfriendly — just precise.

The party left the nook without work but with a clear next step.
